The first time I watched Death Note, I thought it got kinda 'meh' after the L arc. But rewatching it from the beginning recently, I actually really enjoyed the pacing in the latter half. Even though she's barely featured, I feel so incredibly bad for Light's mom, it almost makes me cry.

I just made the biggest blunder on my blog. My canonical tags on EVERY single article were all pointing to the homepage! What a catastrophically bad setting error. Thank goodness it's a new site, because if I'd realized this a year down the line, I'd never have recovered. #buildinpublic

Pushing for app release, but stuck on foundational work. It's a huge upfront effort that simplifies later stages. Feeling drained, no progress feels visible now. But if I can look back with pride, knowing it was the right call, it'll be a win.

I bet there's no one on earth with shittier commit logs than me.

Might as well have GPT 5.2 (medium), which just dropped yesterday, whip up an LP and see if it makes a more stylish-looking site compared to other AIs.

Which AI Can Create the Coolest Web Page? GPT 5.2 vs Gemini 3.0 Pro vs Opus 4.5 vs bolt.new vs v0 vs Lovable
Using LP creation as the subject, I compare 6 tools: GPT 5.2, Gemini 3.0 Pro, Opus 4.5, v0, bolt.new, and Lovable. Testing with two prompt patterns—"Minimal" and "Detailed"—I determine the strongest frontend creation AI based on my own prejudice and bias.

My Google AdSense (blog) is finally making enough to buy an Umaibo! The ads are super subtle right now, so if I made them more annoying, I might earn more, but it's a trade-off with trust and branding. So, I probably should keep them low-key until my page views really blow up.

Got sidetracked by something else and slacked off for a few days, but I'm getting back to it.

Used bolt, Gemini 3.0 pro, Opus 4.5, & v0 on one prompt for a smartphone app LP. UI-wise, Gemini & Opus stood out, but any output is a good base as I'll tweak it. Awkward Japanese? Probably the prompt's fault. Prompt too detailed? Might've hid unique model strengths. #buildinpublic

Gotta make an LP for my app, so I'm looking for an AI service that's a frontend powerhouse. Six months ago v0 felt great for UI, but I'm wondering what I should be using now...#buildinpublic

Apparently, I need to make an app website & privacy policy. What a pain, but I'll get it done.
Subdomain should be fine for cost, right...?
Finally, I'm starting to see the whole app release process, start to finish.

Was trying to figure out why my Expo builds kept failing, then realized the whole Expo platform was down!
Might be a Cloudflare thing again?

Back on social media for work after ages, and wow, I'm stuck scrolling. It's so addictive, bringing all the good info and people together easily. No wonder there's huge demand for apps that block social media for a set time! Posting is fine, but I really need to cut down on the mindless scrolling.

I was thinking, "Man, manually entering metadata for 25 languages one by one in the store's admin dashboard? That's just crazy." But then it turns out both App Store and Google Play apparently offer APIs, so it looks like I can just generate the metadata JSON myself and call the API.

It always cracks me up when I'm searching for "indie dev" on social media and sometimes stumble across spicy posts about "development/training" (you know, the kinky kind).
Btw, if you put your search term in double quotes, you can filter out like 99% of those.

FF14 patch is coming, huh?
I'll restart once my real life settles down... (famous last words)

I was pretty much stuck in bed for a couple of days with a cold, but I'm feeling a bit better now, so I'm gonna get back to finishing up my mobile app until I feel crappy again. #buildinpublic

Can't test PiP on the iOS simulator.
A pretty obscure limitation, probably.
Glad I have a physical device.

Took 16 tries of "Hmm, something's off" for the app icon, but finally settled on
⑯: Splash screen
⑰: App icon
UIUX is never-ending if you get too particular about it, unlike feature development. It's kind of brutal how there's no end in sight.

This cat and swipe animation, it's using Lottie animation and it's pretty sweet
Super lightweight, works on web and apps, and being in JSON format makes it easy to understand, which is great
I had no idea about this until now, is it still kinda niche? #cat #buildinpublic

Just realized I can "like" my own posts
Why wasn't this disabled systemically

Added an animation to the loading screen when launching the app + polished up the UI.
But still, with React Native, I can't shake the web feel in the UI. Is it my lack of skill?

Threads is blowing X out of the water right now, even though it's a cross-post! It's wild.
My Threads: 1 follower
My X: 200 followers
Totally counter-intuitive, right? User demographics, luck, who knows. Too early to say for sure, gotta dig deeper.

I'm planning to really buckle down on my personal development projects for a while, starting today. My first goal isn't to "make even a single yen," but to "finish *something*, anything" (I'm gonna die trying).
