This afternoon pupils at Dornoch Academy impressed the judges with their passionate presentations. There could only be one winner unfortunately and the £3000 was awarded to the group representing Inverness Women’s Aid. Thanks to The Ryvoan Trust for their support of YPI across Highland.

The Highland finals keep coming this week with Golspie High School taking their turn this morning. Well done to the team representing Brora Youth Development Trust who won £3000 for their cause. With thanks to The Ryvoan Trust for their support in funding YPI across the Highlands.

We started the week at Inverness Royal Academy this morning for a practice sharing final. Teachers from several Highland schools watched the final and spent some time afterwards reflecting on their own YPI Programme. Such rich discussions

The judges had it tough at the Holy Rood RC High School YPI final in Edinburgh yesterday. 🤯

What a fantastic YPI Final at John Paul Academy! Every single group clearly displayed their passion and commitment towards their chosen charity. It was a tough decision, but with the help of the head boy and girl, local charity Common Wheel were the proud recipients of the £3000 cheque.

A wonderful evening at Morrison’s Academy where we heard from 7 finalist teams as they presented compassionate and compelling cases for their chosen charities. A difficult decision for the judges. We’re grateful to @thegannochytrust.bsky.social for their support of YPI across P&K again this year.

A fab group of S2s are getting going with #YPI at Harris Academy this week with a launch assembly today ahead of their charity fair on Wednesday. We spoke about the importance of having a clear case for the £3000 grant and choosing a social issue they are passionate about. Good luck S2s!

After lots of deliberation it was decided the team representing The Cookie Jar Foundation hit all the success criteria and were awarded worthy winners, well done team.
