Hmm, that might sound plausible but there are policies that are manifestly harmful and to support them in contravention of your own stated beliefs because it's "sensible" to do so - or your boss tells you it's tactically useful - is immoral by any reasonable standard, no?

John Sayles' Lone Star had one of the most thematically considered soundtracks of that era, and was packed with amazing songs performed by Lucinda Williams, Isidro Lopez, Lydia Mendoza and more. Made a huge impression on me as a teenager
