Temple JACK is perhaps the remake that took the least WORK to remake. From the original, I added a few more objects in the bottom of the image, and switched to a completely top-down view. I LOVE the water shader in this one, and it was a blast to make. It even has fake dispersion built in!

Spirit JACK is possibly the most changed from its original render! The colors are generally the same, but I leaned into the volumetric fog a lot more in this poster version! The liquid gold water is also much more textured. It all gives it a much muggier and ethereal feeling than the original.

Sky JACK is a fan favorite, and I get why. The volumetric clouds always look so comfy. The remake for this poster was nothing more than a rearrangement of rocks so that the JACK follows the rule of thirds and is sitting on something tangible!

Surprisingly, I was actually the most proud of Mirror JACK here! The method for changing the color of the light depending on the number of mirror recursions was something that a month ago I would have had to look up, but I was very proud to be able to figure out the Ray Depth node on my own.

Working on a custom war paint for TF2. This is the ultimate test of Valve's inability to make an ancient engine work for modern situations. Learning the horror stories about how war paints function and even get added to the game officially is crazy.

I'm loving Cocoon SO MUCH. It's so much prettier than even the trailers led me to believe. It's comparable to an Outer Wilds situation, albeit with much less story, where I really don't want to spoil any puzzle at all for anyone. All of the puzzles are genius.
