Another thing I also just noticed, even manga databases are now listing Korean webtoon, Korean manhwa, and Chinese manhua. Different labels for the same industry: Pacific-Asian comics.

I just noticed something, Anime databases are now listing Korean & Chinese anime. I guess people are opening up to the fact that the Japanese word "anime" アニメ is simply a short form of アニメーション (animēshon) which means all and any animated works.

- cameo: no impact to the story; often as "self"
- guest: with impact to the story; often as a fictional character

Is it just me or anime these days are mainly isekai, dungeon, and OP (overpowered) genres?

I watch them, but sometimes I'm looking for other genres like what we had in the 80s to 00s.
