I was finally able to finish the penultimate episode of SPY x Family Season 3 with episode 12. They're doing a great job, but I'm a tad disappointed we didn't get to see an anime original addition/extension to the Wheeler fight. Ah well, it's still been a great adaptation. Can't wait for the last!
Face your face in a face off! This fight (and the arc as a whole) puts a good bit of character development on Loid/Twilight. Even if he still has yet to realize it. Despite the injuries and exhaustion that follows, he ultimately makes the right choice by not killing Yuri. Not as a spy, but as a family guy!... Sorry... I just had to.

Oh and I guess since it needs to be said, Kancolle Thursdays will no longer be a scheduled thing in the coming year. It's going to be an infrequently visited bit I do whenever I have the time specifically on Thursdays. Sorry to those who look forward to it but I just can't do it weekly with my job.

I got a little hobby modeling magazine in the mail today. It's supposed to be a guide book on painting miniature ships and stuff but it also features a bunch of Kancolle girls. And since Yamato is front and center, I had good reason to buy it. I'll share more ↓

I finally got to sit down and watch SPY x Family season 3 episode 11 today, and it's a great start to the Wheeler arc. It's moving faster than I remember but I haven't reread it in a while. I'm also surprised they included the mini chapter at the zoo. But I suppose it does help to break the tension.
A cute little bit that, in typical fashion for this series, has a darker twist. Humans really are the most dangerous creatures in the world. Just ask a certain spy, assassin, or telepath. They'll tell ya.

My Black Friday order finally came in the mail! And boy howdy, this little fella is bigger than I thought he would be. Planet Robobot is my absolute favorite Kirby game so I'm happy to have this in my collection at long last. Now to find shelf space for him...

My weekend was hella busy but I did have a nice little break from it for lunch. Turns out there was a SPY x Family collab going on with a food place in town so I took a little detour there while running errands. The SPY x Family themed burger was actually really good and I ended up buying a shirt.
Not a lot of decor or anything for the event but it was nice seeing something with the Forgers in my hometown. A beef patty with a bunch of stuff including some beef stew and an egg. A good reference to the show's food. I would recommend it... even if it was a little bit higher than what I'd like to have with my price range for lunch. They had another design but I ended up buying this one.

Wrapped up the last movie night for the year over in the Fire Emblem Size Server. They're fun events to have and I hope to host more next year.

Honestly a great movie. It's goofy. It's fun. It has a super hot big lady. And the plot is pretty solid. I fucking love Hiroko Asami. Giantess/giant office women rule! Plus she's really pretty. Can I work in an office with a lady like her? And by that I mean one who is just as large and cute. No big ladies... just May the 4th be with you.

SPY x Family season 3 episode 10 finally reached the drunk Yor chapter! Yor's co-workers can push her a little far but they are warming up to her. It was also great to see the drunken dream sequence get animated. The upcoming last arc is gonna go nuts, and it has great payoff. Looking forward to it!
Ah yes. Loid vs Yor. An infamous drunken dream sequence from the manga taken out of context for clickbait everywhere. Now it can finally be used in anime form. Yippie! (The misinformation dolphin cheers) In all seriousness though it's a fun bit and they did it well in the show. These two are worse than stupid... they are in love AND stupid. Neither one of them knows it yet though but I'm still rooting for them. A fun episode even with the other silly chapters sandwiching this in-between.

A bit late on the new* shelf setup after adding the recent volume, but I also had to find the tree for Chrimbo. It is that time of the year again. Might as well have the giant (and by giant I mean perfectly normal sized and very ordinary) wife and family get it set up. What a lovely bunch they are.
This is the "new" in the new set up as I do still really like the poses I set up for Yor and Loid. There is something satisfying about them being serious together. Also Anya is riding on Bond for reliable transport. (Her legs are too stubby to keep up with momma and papa) BIG HUGE HELPFUL GIANTESS WIFE YOR 😳 Loid you go hug her massive legs right now for doing a good job on helping you get the tree up. Also give Anya a headpat because she definitely also contributed by standing around. Oh and feed Bond. He looks like he's lost weight. Lol. Momma had a long day today. Better tuck her in with her big jacket. The shelf in full. BIG Yor no.2 (or one I guess) is ready for action in the back. Also. I think I'm actually starting to run into a space issue. Might need to move the manga (and movie) to a different shelf since it's starting to take up more and more space. But that's also good because it means my collection is growing.

So it turns out a bookstore I was visiting during my lunch break today had a copy of SPY x Family volume 15 out on the shelf. This is supposed to release on Dec 2nd, so naturally I bought it on the spot. IDK how that happened but honestly I don't care. I have an early copy! Yippee!
