The second of my three #SundayFishSketch today. Here is the truly unique Harpadon nehereus—the Bombay-duck / bombil / bunmalo / vangaravasi / nehare and many more names. This insane-looking lizardfish is heavily fished as a delicacy in India. Incidentally also a #TaiwanFishes #台灣魚類! 🐡🦑🧪

And third of my three #SundayFishSketch today is Epinephelus coioides—one of several grouper species called hammour / hamour in Arabic. Highly prized for food and catches are declining. Also a #TaiwanFishes #台灣魚類 and a major mariculture species here. 🦑🐡🧪

The smaller #turkey was bred by the US Department of Agriculture for family-friendly portions. The "USDA White" originated from Beltsville, Maryland and matured faster than larger varieties.

#Taiwan distributed pamphlets on promoting this bird and enriching poultry feed (維他命甲乙丙丁 = vitamins ABCD).

When she was promoting her book "Pangolina" at Prague Zoo, Goodall even met with Šiška last May and greeted the little spruce cone as "a symbol of hope." It was her first face-to-face encounter with a #pangolin.
