I wanna like this post 1000x over, the Kojima memes are really tiresome especially in the light of Death Stranding 2
People forget how genuinely impactful a Kojima world can be in the story too, MGS V and DS1 mainly expressed it through gameplay, DS2 manages to do both

Première année depuis toujours aussi qu'on skip le jeu et le mode Clubs avec tous mes potes, c'est curieux que ça se soit autant reflété. La remise -70% est là sur Steam mais on a toujours pas fait le pas... Autant attendre le prochain à ce stade

Oui bon ok je concède, c'est juste que je voyais des gens commenter qu'il était temps de refresh etc, for me la Deck est toujours en lice globalement
De toute façon j'ai moi-même opté pour une loufoquerie sous 8840U pour mon gaming portable et outil de productivité donc bon, à chacun ses besoins !

Donc la stratégie de Valve d'attendre pour confectionner un SoC performant qui tirera pas plus de 15W je la trouve pas déconnante, pour moi ils tiennent encore la route, surtout depuis le refresh OLED qui consomme moins en plus d'avoir une batterie légèrement plus grande 3/3

Who knows maybe in a year an OEM could build a Steam home machine using Steam OS and AMD hardware too.

Well unless they truly open it to other storefronts, I don't see why anyone would care about an OEM-built Xbox console. People already struggle to find the Series consoles attractive.
They're quite in a bad place, and if Valve wanted to be more aggressive, they could be a real threat to Xbox.

Current SX games have the same binary architecture as a PC, but they surely don't run the same binary, and UWP is dead btw, even MS switched to Win32 to support Steam.
The transition to a PC-like openness will be difficult, and I think Valve is best prepared for it right now with their Steam OS.
