Most people encounter this message if they get wiped out within the base, before defeating Belch: "You never give up, do you? slightly miffed tonight; I'd bought a few replacement parts for New 3DS XL, and most of them worked fine! unfortunately, the part I needed the most wound up being torn already lmao

this is why I usually order more than one at a time, but I didn't have enough money for that when I ordered. weh. 💔💦
The ribbon flex cable for the ABXY Button board, for the New Nintendo 3DS XL. I ordered it from Aliexpress. It was meant to replace a faulty one, but this one arrived faulty as well-- it's completely torn, thus making it useless. It was only $3, so it's no big loss; however, parts like these for the New 3DS XL system are becoming more scarce and expensive to find... Did you know a genuine battery back cover for this particular system is not only difficult to find: some are even going for over $100???

I'm *immensely* jealous of this copy of Pokémon Crystal that the boif bought... I haven't seen a copy of this in such immaculate condition, at least in person, since it came out! 💦💦💦

I did my utmost best to do as clean of a job replacing the battery as I could. Hoping to ship it to him this week~
A cherished used copy of Pokémon Crystal that my boyfriend bought for roughly $150. He had it sent to me so I could replace the battery, which was long dead; thus, the game could not save anymore. The game's PCB, practically pristine. I used a combination of solder wick, flux paste, flux-core solder and 91% isopropyl alcohol to desolder the old battery and clean off any leftover solder and residue. The new battery, freshly soldered in place. It's a tabbed CR2032 battery, which has a higher capacity compared to the original CR2025 battery... so in theory it should last a bit longer than before! The game being played on my GameBoy Advance, showing that it can maintain a save file once more!

made some white rice, and seasoned pork chops vapor-cooked in water, onions and garlic! I didn't have a lid for the pan, so I improved lmao
