As Mull said, learn the basics of how armour works and looks before bending the rules to create fantasy stuff.
There's a lot of misinformation around, in regards of Japanese armor, and people aren't usually aware.

Trust me, I know it can feel good to gather everyone around the stupidity to collectively point and go "look how dumb these people are", but that only keeps them relevant.

Note their behavior, block/blacklist them and inform others you trust, then let them fade into irrelevance.

Reminder that your platforms/audiences are your stage. when you see a clear grift or rage bait, showing them off to MORE people just helps the grift. Attention is what they want. When you give them your stage, it's free advertising.

Your stage and time are precious. Don't give them to a grifter.

This illustration of Aegon I the Conqueror is a complete breakout from my usual cell shaded style, but it was a breath of fresh air for me. It's nice to do stuff differently once in a while
Aegon the Conqueror, clad in an early 14th century armor. Has a black scale cuirass over a mail hauberk, a bascinet with golden decorations, cuir bouli upper arm armor, scale vambraces and gauntlets. Blackfyre hangs from his belt. On his right hand he's holding a sugar loaf great helm, with a three headed dragon decoration. The dragons on the side are red, the one in the center is black. Samanid rider from the 12th century. He's holding a straight saber on the right hand, and holding the reins of the horse on the left. Has a bow and quiver hanging from his belt. His armor consist on a mail hauberk worn under a silk coat, and a decorated nasal helmet. The horse has a saddle decorated with leopard pelt, and the reins are decorated with bells Eastern japanese samurai from the 1570s. He's clad in a kanto go mai do, with plate haidate, and fully enclosed suneate. The kote are plate and mail, and cover both outside and inside of the arms, in conjunction with tsubo sode. His face and throat are covered by a guruwa and a menpo. He's wearing a ko zunari kabuto. On his back hangs a double sashimono, and on his right hand is holding a lance. A tachi hangs from his belt. The horse is galloping, clad in full armor consisting on a cover of small hardened leather squares, and a gilded metal mask in the shape of a dragon face
