We were pinned down — no chance to run or change position.

At one point, Fara turned to me and said:

Over the years of war, Junior, like many of his brothers-in-arms, has stood face to face with death more than once. But one moment etched itself forever in his memory — the instant when he truly thought it was the end:

But beyond his combat experience, Junior carries a deeply personal story. He’s originally from Simferopol, Crimea, and before the full-scale invasion, he was part of the pro-Ukrainian movement there.
