Moura is an incredible presence on screen. I hope he gets an Oscar nomination so more people see The Secret Agent.

Not a total surprise!

30 episodes sounds like too much, no matter how much you love this director (and I do).

I don’t Kelly wants to be president but I would vote for him if he ran. A voice of reason and he’s actually a hero.

I hope laws get more stringent for bikers in NYC. I’m so tired of cyclists almost hitting me when the light is red and I have the right of way. And bikes coming from any direction at crosswalks are dangerous.

It’s a fine solo effort and the movie would not work without Timothee.

It is a bit exhausting but the film is mostly well done. I liked it more than Uncut Gems.

I thought he deserved the Oscar last year for A Complete Unknown.

Really a terrible choice. I guess the producers want to make tons of money.

What a stupid misguided opinion.

How much longer will we be subjected to these sick non-human beings? Miller should be banished to an island of white bigots.

I wasn’t familiar with the Richter music used at the end because I haven’t seen all the works it has been used in. But perhaps more subtle music could have been used.

I just saw Train Dreams at IFC. An eloquent ode to a humble man and how I wish I had seen it at the Paris instead but the run there was short. I have seen Rebuilding, One Battle After Another and Hamnet since Saturday and have been impressed by all 4. Anderson’s film would rank 4th if I made a list

I find it interesting. And also interesting than the Criterion Collection is not sold in all the Barnes and Nobles in Manhattan and that collectors forget they can just order that Collection on sale online.

Vance should start listening to the Pope rather than Thiel.

It’s harder for me to go out for meals with my friends.

I had a chicken club sandwich in the theater district of NYC with nothing else and the bill came to $33. That’s insane.

I agree with you!
