no, when I asked they said they had hack attempts from a few European countries so they just blocked them all to be safe.

Unfortunately, I cannot use the library subscription since Genealogical often randomly blocks my entire country, which prevents me from accessing their website or library. Last time the block lasted 5+ years.

With a previous version of Evidence Explained, they stopped supporting the viewer they had then (Adobe Digital Editions), so the ebook is now useless. I would not order ebooks from them.

Thank you so much! I gave a presentation about this project on Family Tree Webinars: familytreewebinars.com/webinar/was-...
Was Eleanor of Aquitaine My Ancestor? Applying the GPS across 30 Generations - Legacy Family Tree Webinars
When Yvette found a line to Eleanor of Aquitaine (1124-1204), Queen of France and England, in online trees, she quickly realized the existing research did not...

So for me: LT = books I own, Zotero = sources I have used for research. Some books are in both.
I still have to catalog about half the books I own though... I've only catalogued 2600 out of probably 5000+.

I use LibraryThing for cataloging. However, I have started using Zotero for my references (whether I own sources or not), since you can also attach digital files and make notes, and search them. If I did not have LT already, I would use Z for cataloguing too. www.librarything.com/profile/yhoi...

I have heard professors do this, and honestly, it reflects way more poorly on them than on you. But it still sucks!

I was very not used to wearing dresses so maybe that's it 😂

ja, is inderdaad geen hele gebruikelijke naam. Maar helaas toch komt die in Amsterdam in die tijd toch genoeg voor om haar niet verder te kunnen volgen.

Very cool!

Oh interesting, I was not aware of that project. Was any of that work published? It sounds like it would be a great resource.

Thank you! It's a pleasure to work on.

This is a new project, started last year. All new sketches. May I ask what project you were involved with?

James Riker has done amazing work on the New Netherland side. It's when it gets to crossing the ocean when his work gets dubious. Not to say that I would trust his New Netherland work implicitly (I never do that with anyone!) but there's a big quality gap with the Dutch/French stuff.

Cool that you found that! This is one of the many breakthroughs in the project that I hope people will be happy with.
