Going even further, the reason some very untalented people love messing around with AI image generators is it lets them experience a small fraction of what it's like to be a creative person or an artist trying to make something new and interesting. With the added bonus of a sycophant robot

I've come across the "non-white == non-british" argument more often than I'd like in places you wouldn't expect that kind of racism to be so openly discussed. Whatever containment there was on this stuff seems to have disintegrated and it's really sad.

Maybe I have a skewed view. I came to the UK in 2001 and grew up here. I consider myself British and the UK my home country. I had no real issue integrating, get excited during the Olympics and World Cups etc etc. The idea that someone might have an issue with me being here seems silly to me.

I'm still waiting for someone to give me a convincing argument why London becoming less white is inherently bad. All I've had is something something culture, something something traditions. When the UK is willfully adopting non UK traditions from its neighbours all the time.

I dunno where it comes from but I get so frustrated when progressive people discuss current world events like they're having an academic discussion about something that happened centuries ago. A kind of detachment from reality that encourages outlandish takes

This is a very silly take and makes you sound like a tech bro. David Lynch was a filmmaker, artist, and actor. The LLMs he might have an opinion about were likely trained on data of content he created and LLMs are trying to occupy the creative field he existed in. His opinion is much more important

I care what David Lynch thought about LLMs. It isn't going to affect my own opinion, but I enjoy hearing other people's pespective especially when they are known for having a unique view of the world.

What confuses me was Ciri was always the subject of (very creepy) sexualisation by these people and the way Witcher 3's story went, it was always the logical conslusion that unless the next game was gonna be a totally new school/story it would end up being Ciri.
