A good software designer is one step away from a good organisational designer.
That looks juicy!

Spending an extra day and eating, and hydrating should be a good cure.
I hallucinated and puked. Was 100% worth it though :)

We did Anapurna base camp.

I had mountain sickness at 4.1 in Nepal.
How was your ascent?

Russia will have to pay for losses and destruction it caused.

They know first hand what difference can technology and skill can make on the battlefield.
So, we'll see how it will go.

UK showed amount of leadership other countries can only dream of.
Which, in my opinion, comes from the heart of the nation, their mentality. I find it telling that they have bottom-up legal system as opposed to the Civil Law.
Sweden is amazing too.

Germany also has a history with russia, including training Luftwaffe and Panzerwaffe in SU in violation of Treaties of Versailles.

An anecdote from a friend, who heard it from a guy working in russian defence sector. Siemens handed over all documentation and trained staff before the exit.

Germany did everything it could to pause the weapons supply in first six months.
Whilst still supporting russian war machine with high-precision machines www.rhodus.com.

Also, weapons can be provided for survival, and the phrase itself is cynical. Hence - the reading.

Enough to weaken, but not enough to win. Let me guess - is he a German?

I heard this Zaluzhnyi's quote from Ukrainian soldier: "No matter how difficult it may be for us, we will certainly not be ashamed."

From my perspective they're fighting against planetary-scale rape. And maybe, just maybe, they want their life on their terms. Which includes not being raped again.

Russia is known for brutal political policing from Oprichnina to NKVD, Stasi and FSB.

I can’t blame them for not wanting to settle for anything except military victory without strong security guarantees.

Like joining NATO. And I don’t think that was in the table.

what’s your foundation to decide what’s better for them?
November 2, 2025 at 10:41 PM
> It would have been so much better for Ukraine to accept terms 3 years ago.

That's what bolsheviks said a hundred years ago and then starved millions of Ukrainians to death. And who knows how many sent to Siberiea.

So, the very question is framed on questionable premise.

...but taking down US equipment or personal is a sure way to declaration of war. Or a "special military operation" in Venezuela.

Do you think they are ready to do that?

One aircraft might be just to secure an evacuation route for the president.
Similar to Ukrainian scenario

That shouldn’t be a surprise considering how many finer high-profile EU politicians have seats in Russian oil & gas companies

Interesting, I'll give it a watch. Unmanned Systems Forces recently announced recruitment 15k open positions.
I quickly subbed the first part - it's takes a pretty hard line

The most advanced technology they have is a blood sacrifice for the motherland.

I won't argue with that. Just a small clarification - there is a term called "meat rush", which is used by russian media.

It's a same tactic used by Soviet Ground Forces - overwhelming enemy by throwing people on their positions.
I reckon Koreans soldiers were used in this war in a same way.

Seven years ago, on the south, I was through a rain that resulted in water covering HCMC up to a knee in a 3-4 hours.
The moisture level there is so high that drying with a towel after a shower made me sweat to the level of approx. 15%-20% before the shower.
I heard rains got more extreme

Have you heard how he said on the "Unite the Kingdom" rally that 'violence is coming to you'

They're fuelling the civil unrest, polarisation and division of society
