A5 #parkchat Yellowstone is my reset place. I know how to avoid crowds AND when/how to let the excitement of others show me how priceless this place is. Every time I hear the ranger at the gate say “Welcome to Yellowstone” I breathe deeply and smile, knowing I’m “home” again.

A3 #parkchat We decided to take a hike at our closest park, Lake Vermillion RA even tho we thought it was “just a lake/boating” park. Turns out it’s got a very nice trail. LV has become our go-to for a quick hike after work.

Very grateful for being able to return to Yellowstone three months after hubs fell off our roof (broke a lumbar and shattered his left leg). He had just gotten the “go” to walk again. I remember just thinking “He could have died”, & being grateful for every minute there again together.

Weather is ridiculously nice here in South Dakota so hubs and I went for a hike this morning at Great Bear. They’ve been working on their trails, with about half the park acreage completed. The trails they’re creating are very nice.
BTW: it’s November 22nd and it was 53 degrees here. Craaaazy!

I think Jack-Jack thought he heard there would be an aurora bunnyalis tonight. Theodore wasn’t so sure Jack-Jack heard things correctly.
