With the excitement of recent observations from NASA's
@punch-mission.bsky.social, a collated image showing the synergy it could have with a proposed NASA SMEX mission, EUV CME and Coronal Connectivity Observatory (ECCCO), in the inner most corona!! #Teamwork Credit: Kathy Reeves & PUNCH team

☀️ Happy to share a new paper discussing coverage of different state variables and the magnetic field from the Sun to the heliosphere: arxiv.org/abs/2502.06036. Here are figures for density diagnostics. It is really striking how close #ParkerSolarProbe gets to the Sun.

We integrate coronal observations with a well-timed conjunction between #ParkerSolarProbe and #SolarOrbiter to characterize the contribution of the thermal and wave pressure gradients in the acceleration of the slow and Alfvénic slow solar wind.

☀️Happy to share our manuscript distinguishing the acceleration mechanisms between the conventional slow and Alfvénic slow solar wind has been accepted for publication! 🥳 Arxiv link to follow.

☀️This year's Total Solar Eclipse occurred around Parker Solar Probe and Solar Orbiter perihelion periods, making this timeframe ideal for capturing a multi-point, -perspective view of the corona and outflowing solar wind. I'll be discussing the ongoing work at AGU!! #SolarOrbiter #ParkerSolarProbe

☀️Preparation for AGU fall meeting has begun! I’m very excited to be presenting the coordinated solar eclipse observations from ground, air, and spaced based instruments!! 🌑🌞

☀️Just wanted to share a fun video of Parker Solar Probe diving into its 17th perihelion and what it would see if it had an EUV camera pointed at the Sun. SDO/AIA and Solar Orbiter/FSI had coverage of the full Sun. You can spot the moment Parker is co-rotating with the Sun, where the Sun looks still.
