yess!! i loved this because it showed them as not "inferior," but resourceful little guys capable of using a relatively new predator to their advantage

oh this is gorgeous, awesome how it somehow looks different from both an orangutan and a gorilla

‘s what happens when an arboreal primate has to figure out how to walk properly while still doing primate things i figure…i feel like we’re pretty much flukes, but i also think that makes us radder from a biological perspective…

oh yeah we are really fuckd' up animals, imo hands down the strangest bipeds i can think of

only animals (besides elephant) with chins, hair concentrated on the tops of our heads, a unique protruding nose and a spine attaching to the bottom of the skull, uniquely mobile arms...we're strange beasts

it is just. so fucking strange to realize their pectorals are...like that, its like if we closed our shoulders together almost?? (or maybe literally lmao)

this might be a quadruped thing in general

np! its always a very fun little touch when people do this. also fun when you sometimes add extra visuals of the mon in action! these guys are just fun little dudes and i'm glad i get to see the project updating into its final form
November 21, 2025 at 6:31 PM
ohhhh what a cute little guy! one thing i really like about your designs is how you incorporate that extra slide detailing specific inspirations and their role in the region from an in-universe POV. always fun to see fakemon artists consider how their mon would interact with the world
November 21, 2025 at 6:11 PM
ah i see! neat that you were able to adapt to the time constraints lol, and i can see how having the tablet constantly there would help a lot
November 21, 2025 at 8:10 AM
banger. what time of day do ya typically do art? do you just do it between activities or do you need like, unbroken time
November 21, 2025 at 8:05 AM
solid 6 to me, but like in the aspirational way. somehow made it through final university year while simultaneously both studying and making so much high-quality art and coding? amazing!

the biology talk is just fun, doesn't add to the intimidation imo...wing is funny...
