Been motived to work on my Xenogears decompilation lately. Been working a the validation mechanism to ensure the game doesn't deviate from the original, and found a bunch of little bugs along the way.

The lost source code convo reminded me of a little story about FFX, or how I ended up in the thanks for the remaster.
In the 2000s, I made a FFX & FFX-2 Model and animation viewer. The thing kinda exploded on the neogaf forum as I recall. It was my first work around PS2 reverse engineering.

This is what you would get if you put the inside of the house in the intro model. They are technically at different scales and had to be adjusted.
Note that there is a window modeled on the house outside for the intro, but doesn't match to anything on the inside of the house (different wall)
