So the problem is finding the point of the blue function (x^2 + 1) where the normal line passes through the point (3,1). After 2 hours the solution I keep getting is the green line and the books answer is the purple line. I’m not losing my mind right. The book is wrong?

1) painting rocker switch cover plates is such a faux pas... go vintage if this is what you want 2) absolutely outrageous wallwash fixture here. couldn't put anything in the weird metal tile ceiling? had to come 36" off the wall?

I created some folding sawhorses out of the most fucked up pieces of the yellow pine I gathered from the job. They don’t sit straight because all of the wood is warped slightly but that’s not my fault I tried as hard as I could.

It ended up looking pretty good. The menu is not incredible but that’s expected it’s a Mormon joint. We put in a pizza oven and it looks like they only use it for flatbread. They have a smoker that I only saw used for one smoked sauce. And the 20k two-burner wok range doesn’t seem to get any use.

Went halfway up Millcreek. Nearly died several times I think it’s time for a hardtail and for some more fitness.
