Some toki pona speakers liked the work I did so far for the ONI mod yesterday so here's some of what I shared :3
The Oxygen Not Included main menu in toki pona. These are: "o kama sin musi" = "resume game" "musi sin" = "new game" "alasa e musi" = "load game" (really this should have the "o" command particle in front but whatever) "kulupu toki ale lili" = "colony summaries" "poki len" = "supply closet" "toki ante" = "translations" "ante" = "mods" "ante nasin" = "options" "pini" = "exit" A screenshot of the Duplicant selection screen. There hasn't been much work as I only inserted headnouns in front of their names without considering tokiponizing them. Notably, regular Duplicants all have the headnouns "jan" while Bionics like Sonyar here have the headnoun "jan ilo". A partial translation of an in-game log entry. The only part that's translated is "No no no no no! It can't be! BANHI ANSARI is here..." It gets translated into "ala ala ala ala ala! ni li ken ala! jan BANHI ANSARI a li lon ni..." Note that her name has markings around it to remind myself to return to this once I decide how to handle names in toki pona.

Returned to chip at my toki pona translation of ONI because I thought it'd be funny and because I also hate myself, decided to focus on critter names

Attached some screenshot examples so I could explain my choices without having to create a thread since I'm a toki pona noob
Pacus have been translated as "kala jami", intended to be understood as "yummy fish." This is largely because its description states, "Every organism in the known universe finds the Pacu extremely delicious." Pips have been translated as "soweli kasi", intended to be understood as "leafy land animal" or "plant-like land animal" for obvious reasons. This won't apply to Cuddle Pips... also for obvious reasons. Will probably describe their color or fluffiness instead when I get to it later. An odd translation I decided to stick with for now. Plug Slugs have been translated as "molusa puwa", intended to be understood as "fluffy moluscs" or "fluffy slugs". "puwa" is an obscure word, of which I still want to sprinkle in the mod here and there, but "molusa" is a non-standard word that even fewer people will recognize. I might come back to this, and when I do, I may settle with "pipi ko puwa" or something similar. Jawbos have been translated as "kala suli jami", intended to be understood as "big yummy fish". I originally planned to describe its large jaw, which I may reconsider, but I thought it'd be funny to tie it back to Pacus due to their relationship and resemblance. Jawbo meat is described as "silky" and slightly higher in quality than Pacu filets.
