This is so cute. I love Vaggie's little smile in the second panel, and Charlie's smile, and their dapper little outfits.

I love the way Charlie moving around here causes Vaggie to bob around with the movement as she leans on Charlie. It's such a cute detail.

You seem to be assuming that if something wasn't explicitly shown, it didn't happen, even if there's no reason to think that would be in character.

It's shown that Lucifer is fully recovered in the final scene, so between "Charlie tries to help Lucifer" and "Lucifer is fine", we can assume that

The scene cuts away from them right after that, and only shows them again some time later, during Pentious' broadcast. By that time they've taken care of him enough to get him standing.
