That's my complaint. Especially because of recency bias. DOGE has done a lot of damage recently. But Swisher has whitewashed and done PR for techbros so long that she's gotten them into power in the first place.

Probably a grift targeting bored tech workers with too much disposable income and no personality outside of "I need a hobby that's edgy and unique". Tech bros that never took a humanities course, and refuse to just take up woodworking or something similar for fear they'll be seen as a basic bitch.

It's truly baffling. They even admit that Microsoft employees are forced to use shitty AI products whether they work or not. Whether they're useful or not. And then they go on to say "I just can't understand why these employees don't think AI is useful". Gee, I fucking wonder why?
