I have no idea what has been causing my laptop to crash. I have done a full system reset and hope that fixed my issue, but I have no real way of knowing if it did since the crashes come out of nowhere and seemingly for no reason. Especially bad because I am needing it for the holidays at least.

I have made manifest my most ADHD morning.
Have an exam later so I decided to finally take my trash out this morning, put my phone down to change and forget about it, almost signed up for Google Voice to find it, then got my mom to call me and I found it in a random pocket on me. Then yap about it.

Haven't been able to stream much due to general business with school unfortunately. I only get a few short breaks at a time, so I wanted to share that I've been making some very particular MtG proxies. Behold, the first of my custom "left-handed" Magic cards! (referencing an old SLD)

I spent a bit of time this morning at an expo with my family. We live in the middle of nowhere so my mom got excited for an event to actually be happening...
If it wasn't the saddest venue. Looked like a mobile home with some signs stuck on. The "expo" was mainly like 10 vendors with random merch.

Ayo, I pulled a Fierce Guardianship out of my TLA bundle! And Flawless Maneuver. The actual packs had some good cards too, Ozai going straight into the 99 of my Azula deck. Really the only disappointment is that I didn't pull almost any of the gaang in any way, just a "Sokka, Lateral Strategist".

I've been in a bit of an MtG spiral lately. It's gotten to the point that I am looking at how to design a card mechanically, just because I want to build a Kobold Jund commander deck that isn't led by Prossh. They're just my favorite lil guys

The only "elective" class I can take next semester to stay on track for my degree is all about AI, which I hate.
Universities seem to be trying to adapt to AI which I understand is changing things drastically, but at the same time I feel like an Econ Master's program shouldn't be forced into it.

I've been looking into making some MTG proxies, and can't find other art of the chosen Commander, Anikthea. Which is a whole other can of worms I'm not qualified to speak about.
But what struck me was that I could pop in art of any other IP, and probably pass it as legit. It really is Fortnite...

I had once speculated that the age verification for nsfw content laws pushed by conservatives were possibly backed by VPN companies. I thought it might push more people towards VPNs to ignore or get around them.
But now they're going after VPNs too so it's just more psycho fascist crap I guess.

Finished RE6's Leon campaign last night on stream (and finally showed the last parts of RE5).
I get why people didn't like them, and I have my complaints for sure but they weren't bad. Solo might be a different story though. Partner AI in both games sucks

Watched "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" for the first time last night, it was a pretty good movie overall. Though it has to be said, the real antagonist is unsafe lab practices.
Not even really from the main business guy, literally all the way down they're bad.

Watched "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" for the first time last night, it was a pretty good movie overall. Though it has to be said, the real antagonist is unsafe lab practices.

So far, all my programming classes (SAS and Python) have felt easy, I get high marks, and my confidence is rising.
Both my more mathematical exams (Econometrics and Math Econ) have absolutely kicked my ass. I might be cooked. I'm terrible and this is just the first set of exams. RIP.

Seems like The Witch from Mercury is getting a bit of a review bombing on Rotten Tomatoes. It's a shame, TWfM is a fantastic show, and a great entry series into Gundam. Probably happening because it's got a yuri romance at the core of it tbh.
