there was valid reasoning that was discussed on stream but i'm still very likely not gonna touch again in favour of other projects

do expect some form of explanation at minimum on stream but i do have a major feeling i would've gotten a DQ anyway

there's also mainly the fact that i don't really have game ideas like i've said

if i use a game engine it's usually because i have an idea but don't wanna do the overhead of native ui (no like web, stuff like raylib and its bindings exist but shh)

partly why my bsky view was made in 100% gamemaker

i will also note that out of every aspect of game development i'm still mostly a programmer through and through even though a lot of my internet presence is very much an artist

majority of the ideas i have are not games and that's usually what i work on the most

i also think i'm bad at game design

i know for me i knew i was going to get nothing other than the fact it was my first game in 4 years

maybe will make another one in another 4 years who knows

people need to unlearn the idea that small talk is a waste of time or a sign of not trying. sometimes you don't know what to say but want to just say hi to show you're still there and that your friend is on your mind. everyone is seeking something to break the ice so badly that they're giving up
