Greasy freebooter, maidenless runt, half man half amazing, modern day Malcolm, Phantom of the Chakras, bring back the Boston rag, I'm old and my skin is cold, what they don't know will show on the autopsy
A Career Slam used to be one of those things that you spend your whole career trying to achieve, this MF has just achieved it at 22. We can talk about the level of competition in this era all day but it's still a momentous achievement

The thing about the downfall of American democracy is that the same execrable odious cuntwipes fuelling it are the same twats fuelling the British right wing. People think "aren't those Americans crazy, good thing that could never happen here", not understanding how close to the edge we actually are

My apartment building only has 4 lifts for 48 floors and 2 of them are broken right now. It takes me 15 mins to get out of the building. Next time I'm getting a flat near the bottom so I can at least take the stairs when shit like this happens

Macron's shades are cool as shit. I'm blind without my prescription glasses so I can't wear them but if I could I would absolutely get a pair. I know he's wearing them because he has an eye condition but something about it feels terribly on brand for a French President

Starbucks coffee has a premium price and tastes like fermented cat piss but I go there anyway as they're the only chain that has the ridiculously large serving sizes I need on a daily basis. It's a good lesson about not needing to necessarily have the best product in order to be competitive

Everybody thinks 'https://' stands for 'hypertext transfer protocol secure' but it actually stands for 'head to this place, sucka' followed by a colon and two laser sounds

Today Venezuela, tomorrow who knows. Trump has shown that he can do what he wants with no repercussions. Would Denmark declare war on the US if they took Greenland? I don't think so. Russia will keep at least part of Ukraine, China will eventually take Taiwan. We're in the Might is Right era

Sheeeeiiiiiiiiiiitttt. Bad month for fans of The Wire, first that cadaverous motherfucker Ziggy Sobotka and now "Downtown" Clay Davis. RIP Isiah Whitlock Jr. and James Ransone.

New Nas and Preemo album is trash. If it was going to happen it should have happened 20 years ago when they were both in their prime

Fallow was ok. Cocktails were great. Service was impeccable. You could really taste the quality of the he ingredients. On the bad side: very very noisy, the bar where I was sitting was very cramped. And I was disappointed with my dessert. I'll give it a 7/10

Who the fuck knew there was a Russian three piece named Black Russian signed to Motown in the 80s making r&b tinged pop? I'd never heard of Leave Me Now until it was sampled on Conway's new album, but having heard it I'm surprised no one's ever used it before, it's groovy as heck

I have a reservation for Fallow next week and I don't like any of the mains. I guess I'm just having starters and a dessert then. I'll lie and tell them I'm on a diet

I hate hotdesking. It needs to fuckin die. We are creatures of habit and I want my own desk and my own space so I can have the same routine every time. Not an original thought I know but someone sat in the desk I normally sit in today and it left me pissed off for the entire day

Phantom of the Grand Ole Opry, ask the dumb hottie;
Mask, pump-shotty - somebody stop me;
Hardly come sloppy on a retarded hard copy;
After rockin' parties he departed in a jalopy;
Watch the drop-top papi;
Known as The Grimy Limey, slimy, try me, blimey;
Simply smashing in a fashion that's timely;
One hundred years of Grand Ole Opry.

Grand Ole Opry is a country music show in Nashville that debuted as a radio broadcast on November 28, 1925.

It is the longest-running weekly radio program in the world, and it put Nashville on the map as the center of country music. 🧵⬇️

Chance the Rapper's big comeback album really sank without a trace. I don't think there's anything wrong with being a one album wonder though

Budget was meh. It only really makes much of a difference if you're at either end of the income spectrum. I'm neither rich nor poor enough for it to matter that much

The world doesn't need Rush Hour 4. RH3 was already the cheeky gratuitous nostalgia bait cash grab, they don't get to do that twice

The V&A storehouse is awesome, a novel and interesting space. It's such a novel idea I'm not entirely sure I entirely understood what the intended experience is or how I was supposed to interact it. It has very limited curation; they mean it when they say it's a working storehouse

I don't want to upgrade to Windows 11 but don't think I have much choice. I don't like Mac OS and don't have any Apple products, I like the idea of Linux but I've become accustomed to Windows ease of use/universal compatibility and what I read about actually using it makes me afraid
