For most of my teenage/early young adult years, my family had to live off SNAP. My Dad worked SO hard all those years, working 60+ hours a week at least, often more, only do be consistently screwed by evil tech companies he worked for. Without SNAP, would couldn't have survived.

You think the people in charge really care about today? Not really. It doesn't actually hurt them, ultimately. It is ignorable. I'm not calling for problematic action (violence would be bad), but you gotta at least break curfews or stop traffic long-term or SOMETHING.
