I may have gotten a lot more followers here on bsky than I ever did on twt but also a lot of them are like. inactive accounts because like they all went back. sobbing

some communities quite literally only exist on twt

also seeing people criticize twt of solely being AI and right-wing slop, it partially tells me it just tells me you don't know how to curate your own algorithm that well. 90% of my feed is jp music & illustrations from mostly east asian artists

as much as i would love if bsky + tumblr were my only socials, it's just not feasible to entirely stop using twt if you're into japanese media and you want to keep up with news and fanart and stuff
