Important announcement! (Not that type)

TL;DR - Hiatus to improve mental health and general wellbeing, will be back hopefully for a stream before Christmas, main return in the new year

Where is Xerea? That's me! And I definitely have been more inactive than I hoped to be recently. Truthfully I had a (perhaps naive) expectation that once I had moved into my own place, my mental health would improve. And it definitely did for a short period of time, but I find myself now in a pretty similarly bad, if not worse, place mentally. Work has been a lot recently, which has not only meant l've not streamed, but also that I've pushed a lot of worries out of my mind until now. Things are becoming less hectic at work but all the things I pushed aside now have nowhere to hide. That, compounded with historical Trauma-that-I-definitely-should-have-dealt-with-before-but-didn't- teehee, my mental health has been... pretty awful. I'm taking the steps now to properly address this and have signed up to talking therapy, which is happening on the 16th December. I'm also going to be talking with my GP about resuming medication for the first time in years. Before either of these things happen, I want to also make some changes to my daily routine and general habits, and to properly focus on that I want to step away from streaming for a bit. I noticed watching through VODs that I wasn't my usual self, and unless I can bring everything I want to bring to stream, streaming has no meaning to me. I'm not a numbers person, I stream for fun - and recently it's felt like an obligation, not something to enjoy. So - and yes you all expected this - hiatus time. I expect this to be until after l've attended therapy and gotten back on meds, so l'd like to do a stream (or multiple) shortly before Christmas. When the new year begins, I will ramp up the regularity and get back into a proper schedule. Ultimately I know me being around isn't an obligation, and nothing is expected from me - but I did want to keep you all informed on where I'm at. He’s alive luckily but has suffered some pretty serious breaks requiring surgery… and I’m just hoping there are no complications due to his age
