* kibana: all the features, console is IMO easier for power users, no app needed
* something like postman: more generally usable, app if you like local apps or don't have kibana, wide ecosystem of request collections

though multiple tabs, saving requests, templates,... are kind of neat

nice that it supports no auth, basic auth, and API keys. and you can store various connections
ℹ️ since I rotate my local installations around a lot (with random API keys), I'm not storing them but just go for the "ask every time"
