claude-code.el is great! My motivation for agent-shell was to build on top of ACP (Agent Client Protocol), so I can have a consistent Emacs experience regardless of the agent (Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Codex, Goose, Qwen, etc). If you give agent-shell a try, I'd love to hear about your experience.
