He wrote Cocaine Bear and I can imagine that script being a mess like this but Elizabeth Banks could see what she wanted it to be and the experience to get what she wanted on the screen.

This lacks any kind of focus and isn’t clear enough that it’s satirical cause they don’t want to get sued.

There’s moments where I can see where a more controlling hand could make something really good out of this.

It’s not even that it’s tonally all over the place, there’s no cohesiveness to any scenes. It’s like they all came from different drafts of the script.
