Was looking for a sci-fi movie to watch decided on Mickey 17. Really, really dark comedy. Not a happy movie to watch and the sci-fi's not even that great. Second half better, like Nausicaa x The Alters game so slightly better at that point.

Google being challenged for AI summaries... Guess that makes sense and might set an example for training AI with other people's work. Then again, it does cite sources unlike most generative AI content.

Caught up with One Punch Man S3 and just realised Saitama's voice actor Makoto Furukawa sings the ending song, haha.

Been seeing a surge in React Shell related probes lately... Turns out it was only discovered a few days ago which probably explains why.

Despite the backlash I'm still seeing AI generated live action shows being shown on TV and on streaming services. I guess the companies are trying to get an early share of the market so if it does take off (hopefully not), it means less expenses, staff and actors required.

Video games going multi-platform great for gamers but not so great the console manufacturers who want exclusives to boost sales.

Hmmm, 7.2 earthquake in Aomori with tsunami alert up. Rated 3 around the Tokyo area so should have been felt there too. Late night isn't the best time for quakes...

Caught up with the show and just realised the creatures that appear in the ED's abandoned train station change too, not just the start and end scenes of it. Latest two eps were pretty dull though since they were more focused on bike enthusiasts. #shumatsu_touring

Felt like there might have been a steep learning curve but quite enjoying News Tower so far which is like a spin on Sim Tower. Expand your influence, unlock new items to decorate and utilise. Don't quite like how you can't expand sideways so far.

Pretty crazy how we have appliances from the 70s that are still working today... and can be looked up on the internet too. Not as energy efficient obviously but over 50 years of life.

Nice. Shuumatsu Touring OST out and available on Zpotify. Pretty good cheery ambient soundtrack considering the show's set in a post apocalypse world. Composer worked on Re:Zero too apparently (which I haven't watched).

Huh, new ED in episode 8 already. Usually it's either every episode or half way through a series #gnosia

Waterstones "would sell books by AI"... Fair enough. As long as they mark the shelves/sections as such the way stock asset libraries do.

Don't know why but Google Chrome's suddenly claiming to be "blocked from the internet" while all other browsers work just fine... First time I've had this issue. Might be a bug in a recent update and hopefully fixed soon.

Been a while since I watched a walking tour vid of Ikebukuro, next best place in Tokyo for Anime goods besides Akiba. Bic Camera there has a fun store front... Anime collab cafe outside the Animate closed down a while ago sadly.

New One Piece "Base Store" open on the 4th floor of Shinjuku's O1O1 (Marui) apparently full of assets from the show.

Star Trek Next Generation S5E26 just reminds me of the energy extractor used during Dragon Ball Z's Majin Buu Saga...

Haha, big spoiler screenshot used for a review of the latest One Piece episode but oh well xD

Wonder how long Japan's PM will refuse to apologise and withdraw their statement now that China's continuing to apply pressure; cancelling flights to Japan, any events linked to them including gigs midway.

This video of Japanese idols trying British snacks popped up while browsing for walking tour videos of Japan. They did not like Twiglets, haha... Think I should send my penfriend some some time. I like them though tbh. Something different xD

Been a while since I watched a walking tour video of Akiba but decided to go for one to see if I can spot the current Ranma 1/2 promos. Sure enough they're there. Also Gigo Arcade 1 replaced by "Silk Hat" near the bridge.

Never did play through Disco Elysium because wasn't my kind of world design but the aesthetics in Rue Valley gives off similar vibes. Only it's a point-and-click time loop adventure with a very depressing mood.

Ooo, calendar featuring the Ranma 1/2 characters hanging out in Akihabara. Or rather, just the characters overlaid on photos around the place... Spend 3000 Yen to get it. Watched the original so don't really intend to watch the current remake.

Pretty cool how the artbook for Kpop Demon Hunters is offered digitally free while people also have the option of paying for a hard copy of it.
