It pretty much changed my perspective on marriage. I don’t desire for it anymore - I just want somebody who is willing to deal with my ass for life. That’s good enough for me without the legalities or pressures of it. Thankfully I have my partner of 8 years who understands entirely. 🩷

The technical #3 was more of a promise that they wanted to spend the rest of their life with me, which I was willing to do. They ended up cheating on me, lied about it saying they wanted to break up for mental health reasons - I found out about the lie 2 months later on…Valentines Day.
