I'm a techie. I touch computers and play with chemicals.
Certainly one of the weirder ways to send a message.

I failed to notice this. Fascinating!

I thought Prodigy was pretty good. I did not see all of Section 31. It definitely wasn't for me. Not a big fan of Discovery either.

DS9 is about as dark as I like it for Star Trek. TNG is probably my favorite Star Trek series. Been meaning to watch more of below decks, but I keep forgetting to.

"...help the federation's forgotten." Seems a little too "dark Star Trek" for me.

Comparing the "moral directive" of Frostpunk and the Voyager series in the most general ways:

Frostpunk: Don't die, try not to do evil stuff in the process.

Voyager: Don't die, get home, explore stuff sometimes, try not to screw over alien communities in the process.

Games such as IXION and The Wandering Village are also good examples of what I'm calling survival management games.

I thought the demo was fantastic for showing what the gameplay is gonna be like. Didn't have high expectations for story yet, since it just followed the intro of the Voyager series.

Finished the demo recently, looking forward to it. I really like "survival management" games like this. Not a virus, but there's probably gonna be Borg later.

Surprising! I've watched both B5 and DS9 but haven't ever considered that there would be plagiarism allegations.

Deja Q and All Good Things are fantastic episodes. Unfortunately, they both feel a bit incomplete without the other episodes of the series. Measure of a Man doesn't suffer from this problem as it's a very episode-contained story.
