#sotd is Blood Rose by BPAL. Damn, I love this. Strong rose mixed with Dragons Blood and wine. Crazy longevity. This one is in your face and I’m here for it. (I also turned my bpal bottles into rollers)

High pain day for hike #45. Needed something close, easy, and with as little turns as possible because my right hand is not doing dexterity things. Just popped up to Petaluma to some wetlands at Shollenberger Park. Got even better when my new sunscreen started to burn my eyes. *sigh*

Fluevog Countess Olivia today for a bit of pre-celebration. Made it through the day, but yeah, I work for a comfort brand now for sure 😅. Boots are a bit narrow but still amazing.

#sotd is Lord of Misrule by Lush. It was a bit of an impulse buy in Nola, and it’s smooth patchouli from the vanilla. I don’t like the solid formulation.

Hike #44 had me in such a good mood. My hip was hurting but Millerton Point was full of dogs & good spirits in the rain. Didn’t do the full beach part of the trail, it was really down pouring for a lot of it.

Finally got them on 2nd reissue. Dr Martens Jadon with spiderweb stitching for the Wednesday show collab. They aren’t terribly uncomfortable, but I might put a work insert in them anyway. Yay new boots!

When I travel I buy tea as souvenirs. NOLA had a ton of spooky options. First one tried was horrible mind you (Bela Lugosi’s Ashes - tastes like pot-pouri) 😅 Cute packaging!

Hike #43 was close to home at Maurice Thorner OPS (aka, part of the abandoned golf course). My feet were swollen & my chest is gurgling so not up for much. Got some fall colours captured & loads of active spiderwebs for that fall spooky vibe.
