Making this a Wayland protocol removes the necessity for dependence on specific libraries or toolkits. (I realise most devs will interact with Wayland through libwayland or a higher level toolkit, but that isn't actually required by the spec).

For context, I've long wanted an open standard that externalises things like display settings, controller/keyboard settings etc from the games themselves. i.e for input binds, the game advertises a set of commands and the OS manages the actual binding of those commands to keys/controllers.

Just goes to show how deeply out of touch and desperate for sensation the media are. You've been giving him a platform for years without merit. You artificially amplify his relevance, all for chasing that controversy engagement, and society pays. Crooks. Stop exploiting the ignorant disenfranchised.

I haven't made any excuses. I haven't even justified his actions. Nor have I 'attacked' objectivity. Thread's up there if you want to check. 👆
You're going to have to cohere a little more with reality if you want people to consider your position reasonable.

That isn't context. That's the subject. You are conflating his role with your expectation of his duties. Subjective opinion, not objective fact based on his actual prescribed duties in such a scenario. Obstinance does not make a position reasonable.

Perhaps not so much of a issue on this platform, but something to think about as you strive to influence positive change. @bsky.app @jay.bsky.team

Not without context it isn't. Blanket demands are by their very nature unreasonable. The necessary context here is whether the CEO's presence during the hours he was away would make a substantive difference, and whether that difference would be constructive or destructive based on his lack of rest.

Would be great if switching accounts in the mobile app was as easily accessible in the mobile app as it is on the web app, rather than having to go into settings.
