Occasionally replaced my phone over the years. The newer ones were never that amazing compared to what they replaced. Maybe some cool bells and whistles but nothing revolutionary. There may be some power users who maximize every new thing but the vast majority of us just get by with basics. 1/2

Outsider view here. It seems that democracies only exist because people say they do. It’s very fragile and easily destroyed. And fixing it will be a monumental if not impossible task. Maybe there’s no going back. Maybe you have to start from scratch.

I’ve always been of the opinion that if you had $2,000,000 and gave $1,000 each to 2,000 people - there will be more of a positive effect than giving $1,000,000 each to 2 people.

There were less items than there were last year. But even if there weren’t less items, comparing the cost of last year’s brand names items to this year’s generic brand items is not an apples to apples comparison. “So last year you got an apple. This year you get a grape.”

Bondi says he gave patients a choice the government wouldn’t. I guess that means giving out fake vaccination cards. But why was he giving children saline instead of vaccine? That seems like his choice - not the patient’s choice. And, at a minimum, malpractice.

I was in school in Yellow Creek, Saskatchewan, Canada - grade 3. Playing outside in the snow. My dad pulled up in our white ‘59 Studebaker Hawk. I got in the car and we listened to the news about the assassination on the radio. I’d never heard of something like that before. It changes you.
