It’s a long game, and the payoff is lovely. Though for me it’s frequently two steps forward and five back🤬….My cherry with a crabapple backdrop.

This week at the storm water retention pond-45th St/Park Av. A solution to flooding in this area of So MPLS, & one of two in the neighborhood, surrounded by native plant communities. Truly an oasis smack dab in the city. Also seen: wood ducks & white egrets, along with the usual mallards and geese.

The Cayenne Pepper packet is also👌

Just opened the Penzey’s bag from yesterday’s shopping to find the freebie “resist” spice packet they threw in.
