Only Nintendo can shadow drop the announcement to a major patch for an almost 4 year old game and only to say "no additional 3rd kits" lol
Interested to see what "new battle features" could be. Some love for Private Battles perhaps?

This update will include “new features related to battles” and balance changes.
There will be no new weapon kits (interestingly, this note was added by Nintendo of Europe and is not in the original JP text).
