The cult classic NIGHT OF THE COMET opened OTD in 1984, the "Where Is Everybody" post-apocalypse movie for the MTV generation; passing through the tail of the titular comet wipes out most of Earth's population. Only a modest success, it's grown in favor since. One of the first PG-13 movies.
