Have you read The Formidable Miss Cassidy by Meihan Boey? It's utterly brilliant - a flame-haired Scottish governess arrives in 1890s Singapore to look after a teenage girl and just casually slays demons and monsters while she's sorting out household problems and teaching etiquette. So good!
