Only knew 1 Jewish Bernie supporter. In 2016 a woman in her 60s active at my synagogue. We smiled politely when she spoke but nobody was happy about it.
Cuz we're mishpocha when she died in 2022 we had a nice memorial & her family came from far away & were touched.

My cousin in Massachusetts sent me a selfie of 3 generations of women in her immediate family at the mall. Her mom, life of the party, died at 92yo this summer so it was bittersweet.
Pretty sure they didn't care what was in the bag this year😢

Did he ever work in government? I also have a degree in Poli Sci (U of M), Ph.D. & spend 35+ years in Federal service.
Despite my fancy degrees I most often cited the lyrics to Schoolhouse Rock to explain to the public how government works.

One attorney went to HS in Missouri & said that she was walking thru the parking lot. Someone had the radio on & the windows down. She stops, turns & asks her classmates "who is that" & the rest is history

I volunteer in an ESL program & there are many Afghan woman enrolled online. We're out this week cuz of the holiday & I'm concerned about them. Most live in the US but one is in Afghanistan & today she's probably the safest one🤦🏻
