But at least my NDP incumbent went from beating the PCs by 900 votes to winning by thousands. Also my conservative sister didn’t support ford and her long time PC riding of Nepean flipped to Liberal! I’m taking my wins where I can find them. But low voter turnout is so sad.

Yesterday, I managed to buy only Canadian (cucumber and romaine lettuce) and non American fruit (Colombia, Guatemala, Morocco and Mexico). I hate to think about the carbon footprint though.

Please tell me it is illegal in Canada! I felt ill just reading the story and appalled by the med student who seemingly had no qualms about it even in this day and age.
