Kelly and some classics.

Showing Up is even funnier on second viewing. Michelle Williams' beaten down body language is comedic genius.

Go see it! It's great!

Also, Kelly is the queen of ratemyprofessors. Only the highest respect for someone who can draw these kinds of reviews.

Two shots from my live performance last Sunday at Reforesters in Brooklyn for Goingin with Chloe Alexandra Thompson and Holland Andrews. Wonderful 24 channel system using Envelop to spatialize. Fantastic performances from all and a lovely, engaged audience.

An absolute joy to see one of the David Behrman performances. I can’t believe it was the US premiere of On the Other Ocean.

Excerpt from my 2AM set at @chillits.org earlier this month. Thanks to the whole crew and community for having me perform this year. A truly beautiful festival in a stunning setting with a wonderful group of people.

I went outside to pick some figs from the fig tree in my front yard and my neighbor said hello to me.

RIP.

Teorema is easily my favorite Pasolini. I'm not a religious person, but Pasolini communicates the essence of religious feeling in this film by highlighting that loss is our way of understanding our fleeting relationship to the divine.

Just finished part one of this and it's really that great. I'm remembering Franzen's Mr Difficult essay and chuckling about how completely misguided it is.

Watched Star Trek III with my kid last night and discovered it is the source for classic song titles.

If you're in Portland this Sunday, I'm playing live at 1PM on my own front porch as part of Porchfest. My set is inspired by Jean-Claude Eloy's Gaku-No-Michi...so lots of recordings I've made over the years from my house.
