@wrwcri.bsky.social
The Woonasquatucket River Watershed Council (WRWC) sparks economic development through our work restoring the Woonasquatucket River and communities around it, and by enhancing, extending and bringing people to the Woonasquatucket River Greenway.
Hey friends! The weather is looking pretty wet and we are going to cancel today's "Walk the Greenway!" Do not fret tho! Our special guest Renee Stoops (WRWC Greenway Operations Manger) will join us for next Tuesday walk instead! Stay dry and see you next week!

401Gives starts tomorrow at 6 AM! Last year, 206 donors helped WRWC raise $20,666 to restore the river, expand the Greenway & support our community. Every gift, even $5, makes a difference. Let’s show up together.

Today, WRWC staff—and Delmer!—rallied at the RI State House to demand free, well-funded, and accessible science for all. No censorship. No political interference. Just science that protects communities & drives innovation!

@standupforscience.bsky.social! Friday, March 7, from 12–4 PM at the RI State House, support science that works for everyone! Science helps keep our communities safe, shapes smart policies, and drives innovation—but only if it stays free from censorship, well-funded, and accessible to all.
