Amazing! Congratulations to the Male-Phillips combo

Definite crossover with Jamaican/Irish pronunciations. “Dat” especially.

Having a fairly standard London accent, I’d sound pretty silly dropping “Riddim” into a sentence though

Another stone cold banger. Getting to do a dub mix of that is my dream job

Howard eventually sailed off to the land of make believe

I'd of course like to be a lot less broke, but one of the few upsides of hardly getting booked to play out since the pandemic is I've not been Jah-blessed by Oxbridge graduates in a long long time www.youtube.com/shorts/-u0cB...
ah what is that garage?

Of course if the title of a track includes "riddim", then that's how I'll write it, but if I hear another plummy white guy saying it, I'll be Lilting

It's nothing without Howard's Way though

Think it reached around 200 hours in the end

I was just explaining to someone on Twitter that it basically ended when I stopped regularly using Twitter

One thing which made me laugh when reading Frantz' Remain In Love was finding out they made the first Tom Tom Club record because they decided to take a break while Byrne & Harrison were making their own LPs, but their accountant pointed out they were almost flat broke

The interesting thing about Byrne and TH is they weren't extraordinarily successful, and they did stuff like hire an expanded band before they'd had a hit single. There was a lot of integrity and experimentalism even when they finally had an international hit after recording 5 albums

Also the hits in TH’s case is open for debate. This best of from 1992 didn’t feature anything from Fear Of Music

I’d happily watch it, but given their constant expansion/evolution over the course of their career, it feels very un-Talking Heads to do a reunion tour and play the hits

In good company. Never seen that White Lines sleeve

52 if you count the backing track
