#booksky I just took a break from #gothic and #spooky to read an #historicalmystery: The Secrets of the Old Post Cemetery. It weaves the #AmericanRevolution with present day Upstate New York ❤️, featuring an artifact: a Traitor's Map. Loved learning about the history and enjoyed the twists!

#booksky Current read: The Dazzling Darkness by @paulacappa.bsky.social This is def a #supernaturalthriller w/ a missing child, mystical powers of a crystal skull, #transcendentalism and Emerson. My fave? The author's masterful settings: the murky woods, the creepy graveyard. I'm loving it!
