Jack Smith: "My fear is that we have seen the rule of law function in our country for so long that many of us have come to take it for granted. The rule of law is not self-executing. It depends on our collective commitment to apply it."

What a hypocrite! Rep. Luna cosponsored a resolution to drop charges against Julian Assange under the Espionage Act because journalists have a right to publish classified documents.

Now she wants DOJ to charge journalist Seth Harp under the act for posting a public official's name.

It's time to join the resistance to ICE. Here's an example of cruelty. Of course they do worse things like today's arrest of a 5 year old and a 10 year old child and sending them to a Texas detention facility.
This video filmed by Ben Luhmann shows the moment a federal agent sprayed chemical irritants directly into a man's face in south Minneapolis.

Three agents already had the man pinned to the ground when a fourth agent walked up and sprayed the irritants.

Not only Minneapolis! Many communities in Minnesota support our immigrant neighbors. We are organized.
Businesses are posting signs on their doors telling ICE to keep out. Observers are visible outside of restaurants, stores and schools. "Upstander" trainings are reaching capacity — and so are neighborhood signal chats.

In the Twin Cities, the resistance is everywhere.
