Anyone have recommendations for people being detained in the San Luis Obispo county area? Like resources they or their families can contact if ICE grabs them? Asking for an immigrant I know in that area.

I called up Wyden's office and told the receptionist that as much as I appreciated a lot of his work, the number one priority in my primary vote this year is whether he can call for new leadership in the Democratic Party.

Yeah, there are absolutely plenty of rank-and-file Democrats who want to push for something better and none of them are part of the Democratic leadership, which is very much hoping they don't have to change anything.

Called Senator Wyden's office the other day and basically told the receptionist that my Single Issue during his primary this year is publicly opposing Senate Democratic leadership.

But there are other apps that can stream to YouTube. I dunno if any of them would work better (ideally I would like an option to continue live streaming after the phone was locked, but I don't know if that's possible without some hackery.)

That's been thought too. It takes a bit of jostling with to get a stream started (depending on what settings you want) and streaming is paused if you lock the screen or switch away to share a stream link. But it is theoretically doable in a pinch.
